Frequently asked questions
Which SQL dialects are supported?+
Standard SQL plus PostgreSQL, MySQL, MariaDB, SQLite, SQL Server (T-SQL), Oracle (PL/SQL), BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift and Spark SQL. Pick the one closest to your database for the most accurate formatting.
Does it change what my query does?+
No. It only reformats whitespace, indentation and keyword case — the query logic and identifiers are left exactly as written.
Can I keep my keyword casing?+
Yes. Choose UPPER, lower or Preserve. Preserve leaves SELECT/select exactly as you typed it.
Is my SQL uploaded?+
No. Formatting runs entirely in your browser; your SQL never leaves your device.
